Wardsmith
A big ol' neurologically rare fellow who starts and finishes more creative projects in more mediums than he probably should. Flash creation was never my strong suit as a skill, but I was able to become a competent game developer and highly-varied artist.

don't chicken out or pussy out on it, it's cool, also don't put too much effort into it, half the people who work on an animation don't even submit because of lack of time, i can't post mine because my pc is so shitty, it can't boot from an usb, i wasted 4 weeks trying to download that shit. Now im making a c00l 1337 paint animation for the day, do some funny, obnoxious, shitty thing with flash bro, have fun!

Perhaps I should have been more detailed. In 2023 I actually did make a very earnest effort to contribute a Flash movie to Clock Day, but for some stupid reason my Flash project was playing the audio at inconsistent timing between the rendered version and the "editing" version.

This totally killed my ability to sync the audio with the video at a quite early stage in animation. My friend told me that sometimes a Windows update can cause this kind of issue. I plan to eventually figure out how to animate SWF's on Linux. Computer troubles suuuuuuuck.

In a way, I was eventually kind of glad I didn't post the Clock Day cartoon I was working on last year. After a while I came to the conclusion that I'd probably get trolly flak if I had tested the waters in the way I had planned to test the waters.
For me, posting stuff on Newgrounds is less like putting my foot in the ocean to see how cold it is and more like putting a finger in a bucket of fish that I haven't identified yet but am aware might be piranhas, or just particularly bitey carp if I'm less unlucky. Plus the script I wrote had this message in it about how Clocks were "going extinct", and I don't know if that would have gone over well.
Looking back at the abandoned SWF I made I do get a bit of a chuckle though.

@Wardsmith yeah you do have a point, i saw your profile AFTER posting this, i'd pay to see what you cooked for this month's clock day
