A big ol' neurologically rare fellow who starts and finishes more creative projects in more mediums than he probably should. Flash creation was never my strong suit as a skill, but I was able to become a competent game developer and highly-varied artist.

READ COMIC. READ NOW.

Well then!

This is a comic from Crack Putty. It's been on hiatus ever since comic 71, back in March. It's going to return in June.

Ever since May started I've been trying to do comic-related things - even if they are only vaguely connected to Crack Putty - and somewhat unintentionally during the month I've come up with a few great strip ideas. In that time I've written brand new commentary for Fatal Expression (the first and previous series that doesn't need subscribers), outlined a bit of plot and background for my upcoming Minecraft Fans series, and today I'm going to make sure every Fatal Expression comic is filled with alt-text.

So, what's happening after June, you may ask? Obviously Crack Putty will be back and in full swing by then, but what's really worth mentioning is that not horribly long afterward, there's going to be a new webcomic series from me that runs in good time instead.

It will be called Minecraft Fans, and it's pretty much just about what you'd expect; people who like Minecraft, play the game, and go on adventures. But there's going to be more to it than that, and I'm going to do my best to avoid that filthy Two Gamers on a Couch trope. It's also going to turn pretty serious, and have some greater world building than both of my currently-established comic serieses.

Another thing that I've established as suitable for comic preparation work, by some weird logic and extension, is working on my next animation; which is also obviously in Flash. It's called Death From Minecraft, and isn't going to be much like anything else I've mentioned in this post. It's entirely an atmospheric piece based on █████ from ████'s ██████ █████. Look forward to it!

It's one of those Wacom pen and touch things. I haven't used it much yet, but I want to get used to using it so that I can draw better artwork.

I had a pretty large break from Crack Putty recently because I wasn't feeling well. Comic production stopped for over a month, but I started making comics again last Tuesday. If you want to check out that comic itself, click this. If you are new to the webcomic completely and want to read it from the start, click this.

I have 50 comics in Crack Putty now. That's pretty good, but I'm definitely not stopping there. I won't stop updating Crack Putty until I have the tablet and confidence to start a new series, and then when that series is finished, it's right on back to Crack Putty for another season.

I can't believe how over Clock Day 2014 is right now. Is it just my memory, or were Clock Days way more awesome in previous years?

Ground yourself on a safe webpage!

In New Zealand, August 15 is tomorrow. You want to be covered when it hits.

I finally did it you guys. I've had these paintings for a while and I just today managed to put them on Deviant Art.

I finally got the third Captcha joke together, which I won't talk about because that could spoil the humour. I will, however, talk about how annoying the new Paint that I used is. Just briefly I'd like to say, it's awful with pixel art and you can only really change a single pixel at a time when you're going for consistent definition.

  1. I found this captcha.
  2. This was made in Windows 8 version of Paint, which sucks.
  3. Was drawn entirely on one day.

I was never entirely sure about this one, but hopefully somebody will at least get laughs from the faces.

  1. I found this captcha.
  2. This was made in Powerpoint 2003.
  3. Was drawn entirely on one day.
